ABSTRACT
Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) have a promising future in the diagnosis and therapy of diseases owing to their unique photoelectric properties. In body, monodisperse Au NPs may aggregate extracellularly intracellularly, which influences vivo fate physiological effects. However, due lack rapid, precise, high throughput method for characterizing NP aggregates, intricate aggregation process has not yet been fully understood. order overcome this obstacle, we develop single-particle hyperspectral imaging identify making use outstanding plasmonic properties aggregated NPs. This enables us monitor dynamic formation aggregates biological mediums cells. Further analysis reveals that following exposure 100 nm NPs, macrophages highly depends on dosage is less affected by duration. particular, surface coating, including PEGylation protein corona, can considerably mitigate intracellular Our findings highlight an efficient way studying how scenarios.
