ABSTRACT
Metallic 1T MoS2 nanosheets are highly desirable for application in catalysis, energy storage, and production due to their high electrical conductivity abundant active sites. Here, this work presents a new strategy prepare 1T-phase through light exfoliation chemical doping by femtosecond laser ablation of bulk 2H-phase crystals Fe ion solution. Femtosecond induces the with breakage bonds increased activity MoS2, which is conducive adsorption atoms on hence reversion original 2H phase phase, finally obtaining nanosheets. The prepared have uniform shape size, crystallinity, coexisting phases, S, chemically combined atoms. Moreover, phase-reversed can be applied as electrocatalysts electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) exhibit considerable enhancement HER catalytic compared common ion-intercalated nanosheets, thus proving huge potential catalysis applications.
