ABSTRACT
Chemical clustering of a nonemissive and non-AIEgen Cb-Ph endowed molecular system (Ad-4CP) with unique dual emissions in the solution state, typical clustering-triggered emission (CTE), high efficiency aggregated an aggregation-induced (AIE). The CTE was ascribed to intramolecular charge transfer (CT); however, AIE both intra- intermolecular CTs. two-level CTs make Ad-4CP exhibit remarkable excitation-dependent emissions. We believe that present work not only delivers peculiar properties but also provides example on how engineering promotes rational design systems via clusterization suitable structural units.
