ABSTRACT
The availability of proteomics datasets in the public domain, and PRIDE database, particular, has increased dramatically recent years. This unprecedented large-scale data provides an opportunity for combined analyses to get organism-wide protein abundance a consistent manner. We have reanalyzed 24 from healthy human individuals assess baseline 31 organs. defined tissue as distinct functional or structural region within organ. Overall, aggregated dataset contains 67 tissues, corresponding 3,119 mass spectrometry runs covering 498 samples 489 individuals. compared abundances between different organs studied distribution proteins across these also results with generated analogous studies. Additionally, we performed gene ontology pathway-enrichment identify organ-specific enriched biological processes pathways. As key point, integrated into resource Expression Atlas, where they can be accessed visualized either individually together expression coming transcriptomics datasets. believe this is good mechanism make more accessible life scientists.
