ABSTRACT
Radioactive iodine therapy (RAIT) is one of the main treatment methods for patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). Peripheral blood samples were collected from 29 PTC who underwent total thyroidectomy 1-2 days before RAIT (RAIT-0), 30 after (RAIT-30), and 90 (RAIT-90). Flow cytometry was used to detect absolute counts peripheral lymphocyte subpopulations, Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) targeted proteome quantification. We found that RAIT, subpopulations abundance inflammation-related proteins in changed did not return pretreatment levels a long time. The immune pathway "Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction" related cytokine signaling may be activated. In addition, there two types protein trends similar count trends. five greatest degree trend change MCP-1, TRAIL, TGF-alpha, Flt3L, IL15. RAIT-30 vs RAIT-0, B cells significantly negatively correlated Th17 positively CRTAM. IL15, CRTAM potential marker recovery RAIT.
