ABSTRACT
The cytotoxic response, cellular uptake, and metabolomic profile of HeLa HaCaT cell lines treated with cobalt ferrite nanoparticles (CoFe2O4 NPs) were investigated in this study. Cell viability assays showed low cytotoxicity caused by the uptake at 2 mg/mL. However, metabolomics revealed that these impacted metabolism even when tested a concentration presented according to assay. two shared stress-related metabolic changes such as increase alanine creatine levels. A reduced level fumarate was also observed cells after treatment nanoparticles, alteration can inhibit tumorigenesis. Fumarate is considered be an oncometabolite prolyl hydroxylase, inhibition stabilizes HIF1α, one master regulators tumorigenesis promotes tumor growth development. In summary, study nanoparticle-treated demonstrated decreased concentrations metabolites associated proliferation growth. results clearly indicated might cause perturbation metabolism.
