ABSTRACT
Long-term and green marine antifouling coatings are an important means to prolong the service life of ships other instruments equipment. To accomplish this, we prepared three new high-efficiency containing phthalimide derivatives inspired by capsaicin (PDIC-AC) using a collaborative strategy that incorporates self-polishing, fouling repelling, properties. Static simulation tests confirmed zinc acrylate resin PDIC-AC has excellent self-polishing properties due changes in roughness, surface free energy, mass loss. Antifouling demonstrated both PDIC possess efficient antibacterial anti-algal effects. Moreover, field showed highly for at least 9 months, their effect is similar coating with chlorothalonil (CT-AC). The this study can be used research develop long-term environmentally friendly coatings.
