ABSTRACT
Supramolecular polymeric materials have received much attention in recent years due to the fabrication of supramolecular with mechanical properties and stimuli-responsive response designs based on noncovalent cross-linkers. Host–guest interactions are useful that can be employed realize materials. To understand relationship between host–guest molecular structure guest molecules polymer side chain, we prepared hydrogels cross-linked by inclusion complexes cyclodextrin (CD) cationic alkyl guests chain. The were influenced an electric barrier group, CD cavity size, length unit, charge number barrier, reduction responsiveness. Although introduction end moiety increased rupture stress, strain decreased repulsion unit group. stress αCD-cationic hydrogel was higher than βCD-cationic because αCD group is βCD relatively small size αCD. fracture energy as chain or increased. We demonstrated change stimulus.
