ABSTRACT
Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) has been used for long-acting injectable drug delivery systems more than 30 years. The factors affecting the properties of PLGA formulations are still not clearly understood. release kinetics microparticles influenced by many parameters associated with formulation composition, manufacturing process, and post-treatments. Since have explainable using measurable properties, formulating desired extremely difficult. Of various glass transition temperature, Tg, is able to explain aspects kinetics. This allows examination that affect Tg formulations, thus, impacts terminal sterilization on were also examined. analysis in relation provides a basis further understanding controlling release.
