ABSTRACT
Current seasonal influenza vaccines are limited in that they need to be reformulated every year order account for the constant mutation of virus. Hemagglutinin (HA) immunogens have been developed using a computationally optimized broadly reactive antigen (COBRA) methodology, which able elicit an antibody response neutralizes antigenically distinct strains; however, subunit proteins not immunogenic enough on their own generate substantial immune response. Due this, different delivery strategies and adjuvants can used improve immunogenicity. Recently, we reported new coordination polymer composed dipeptide carnosine zinc (ZnCar) is deliver protein antigens along with CpG potent In present work, ZnCar was COBRA HA immunogen Y2 adjuvant CpG. We incorporated into two methods assess would most immunogenic. Mice vaccinated complexed showed improved humoral cellular when compared mice soluble Further, demonstrate vitro coordinated ZnCar, protected from degradation at 40 °C 3 months or 24 6 months. Overall, shows promise as vehicle vaccines, given its superior immunogenicity storage stability.
