ABSTRACT
Optical tweezers are versatile tools capable of sorting microparticles, yet formidable challenges present in the separation nanoparticles smaller than 200 nm. The difficulties arise from controversy on requirement a tightly focused light spot order to create strong optical forces while large area is kept for sorting. To overcome this problem, we near-field potential well array with connected tiny hotspots scale. This situation can sort sizes 100 500 nm, based differentiated energy depths each well. In way, 200, 300, and nm be selectively trapped microchannel by appropriately tuning laser power. Our approach provides robust unprecedented recipe trapping biomolecules, such that it presents huge physical biomedical sciences.
