ABSTRACT
Existing miniaturized spectral imagers have mutual restrictions among spatial, temporal, and resolutions, making them inadequate to meet practical needs. Here, we demonstrate a spatiotemporal filter array chip tackle the trade-off three resolutions for hyperspectral imaging. A 2 × Fabry-Perot is embedded inside tunable liquid crystal modulator, increasing number of filtering channels spatiotemporally in hardware, which empowers imager with high simultaneously. The transmission type advantages easy fabrication large modulation. Experimental results show proposed has resolution around 0.5 nm visible range, frame rate 60 Hz spatial up 25 lp/mm without postinterpolation. gives best balanced performance imaging terms resolutions.
