ABSTRACT
Achieving efficient localization of white light at the nanoscale is a major challenge due to diffraction limit, and emitters generating with broadband spectrum require complicated engineering. Here we suggest simple, yet highly efficient, white-light source based on hybrid Si/Au nanoparticle ultrabroadband (1.3–3.4 eV) spectral characteristics. We incorporate this novel into scanning-probe microscope observe photoluminescence that allows fast mapping local optical response advanced nanophotonic structures submicron resolution, thus realizing near-field nanospectroscopy.
