ABSTRACT
We propose the "Andreev molecule", an artificial quantum system composed of two closely spaced Josephson junctions. The coupling between junctions in Andreev molecule occurs through overlap and hybridization junction's "atomic" orbitals, Bound States. A striking consequence is that supercurrent flowing one junction depends on superconducting phase difference across other junction. Using Bogolubiov-de-Gennes formalism, we derive energy spectrum non-local current-phase relation for arbitrary separation. demonstrate possibility creating a $\varphi$-junction experiments to verify our predictions. molecules may have potential applications information, metrology, sensing, molecular simulation.
