ABSTRACT
Increasing the Ni content of LiNixMnyCo1-x-yO2 (NMC) cathodes can increase capacity, but additional stability is needed to improve safety and longevity characteristics. In order achieve this improved stability, Mg Zr were added during coprecipitation uniformly dope final cathode material. These dopants reduced capacity material some extent, depending on concentration calcination temperature. However, these impart substantial stabilization. It was found that degree stabilization strongly dependent temperature addition, we used synchrotron X-ray diffraction thermal breakdown better understand why different impact confirm effects dopants.
