ABSTRACT
A solar steam generation method has been widely investigated as a sustainable to achieve seawater desalination and sewage treatment. However, oil pollutants are usually emitted in real or wastewaters, which can cause serious fouling problems disturb the evaporation performance. In this work, mussel-inspired, low-cost, polydopamine-filled cellulose aerogel (PDA-CA) rationally designed fabricated with both superhydrophilicity underwater superoleophobicity. The resulting PDA-CA device could also high rate of 1.36 kg m–1 h–1 an 86% energy utilize efficiency under 1 sun illumination. addition, not only exhibited promising antifouling capacity for long-term water but engaged effective adsorption organic dye contaminants. These features may offer new opportunities developing multifunctional photothermal devices solar-driven remediation.
