ABSTRACT
Photocatalysis is a facile strategy for complex chemical transformations. Heterogeneous photocatalysis, especially in the flow system, has attracted much attention as it avoids separation of catalysts. Herein, kind Bodipy-containing porous microcapsule heterogeneous photocatalyst was rationally constructed with modulation on multiscale. The diiodo-Bodipy methacrylate (MA-2IBDP) synthesized polymerizable photosensitizer. After immobilization polymer matrix, intersystem crossing rate constant MA-2IBDP increased to 2.7 × 1010 s–1 and its triplet excited-state lifetime prolonged ∼1 ms. Porous structures microcapsules were created facilitate mass transfer. A flat plate reactor fix catalytic improve light utilization. With combination all above benefits, reaction (0.896 s–1) 10 times faster than that homogeneous system juglone synthesis. continuous production can last 30 h without yield decrease. also be used aza-Henry reaction, Alder-Ene oxidation thiols disulfides conversion rates 95%.
