Shear-Thinning and Designable Responsive Supramolecular DNA Hydrogels Based on Chemically Branched DNA

ABSTRACT
A novel supramolecular DNA hydrogel system was designed based on a directly synthesized chemically branched DNA. For the formation, self-dimer with two sticky ends as linker to induce gelation of B-Y. By programing sequence, thermal and metal-ion responsiveness could be introduced into this system. This shows shear-thinning, designable responsiveness, good biocompatibility, which will simplify composition preparation process accelerate its biomedical applications.
