ABSTRACT
A surface modified-CsPbBr3/polybutylmethacrylate (PBMA) nanocomposite is reported to be a scintillator that enables us provide high contrast X-ray image using common charge-coupled device (CCD) camera. Bis(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl) phosphate (BMEP) was employed alter the ratio of original ligands on CsPbBr3 nanocrystal (NC) for optimizing optical performance CsPbBr3/PBMA nanocomposites. The nanocomposites with concentration 0.02 wt % NCs exhibit more than 70% transmittance in visible region and show green emission at 515 nm, fast decay time 13 ns, while photoluminescence quantum yield value 99.2%. Under excitation, peak wavelength centered 524 nm shows narrow full width half-maximum 26.6 nm; result nicely matches efficiency most commercial CCD/complementary metal oxide semiconductor cameras. recorded low dose rate 4.6 μGyair/s, which read out software. Our results demonstrate these have promising application prospects ionizing radiation detection, especially imaging.
