ABSTRACT
A wearable thermoelectric cooler (w-TEC) shows promising prospects in personal thermal management due to its zero emission, high efficiency, lightweight, and long-term stability. The flexible heatsinks are able promote the cooling effect of coolers, but capacity current coolers still has much room for improvement because relatively large resistance between heatsink. In this work, two-layer heatsink units composed hydrogel nickel foam fabricated attached a via silica gel. Thanks conductivity tight bond foam, effective heat conduction from body was achieved. addition, discrete endow w-TEC with excellent flexibility. bending radius is as small 7.5 mm, temperature reduction ∼10 °C can be realized at an input 0.3 flat or bent w-TEC. on-body testing, stable 7 obtained using AA battery voltage 1.5 V.
