ABSTRACT
Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected spin textures that were found to be promising candidates for next-generation spintronic devices owing their small size and unique current-induced dynamics. Increasing density at designated locations in a controllable manner is prerequisite further improve the recording of magnetic memory relevant spintronics. Here, we demonstrate sharp increase skyrmion multilayer films can purposefully realized site-specific position by ion irradiation, which has industrial applicability. The Cs-scanning transmission electron microscopy micromagnetic simulation results indicate sharply increased five times after applying an exposure with irradiation dose 1.5 × 1014 Ga+/cm2, field required create also reduced. intrinsic physical mechanism increasing mainly originate from formation disorders through Ga+ induce decrease nucleation energy barrier skyrmions. We show artificial patterns tunable intentionally written specific sites using beam. This work should contribute significant step toward eventually realizing practical application
