ABSTRACT
Rare cells, such as circulating tumor cells or fetal provide important information for the diagnosis and prognosis of cancer prenatal diagnosis. Since undercounting only a few can lead to significant misdiagnosis incorrect decisions in subsequent treatment, it is crucial minimize cell loss, particularly rare cells. Moreover, morphological genetic on should be preserved intact possible downstream analysis. The conventional immunocytochemistry (ICC), however, fails meet these requirements, causing unexpected loss deformation organelles which may mislead classification benign malignant In this study, novel ICC technique preparing lossless cellular specimens was developed improve diagnostic accuracy analysis analyze morphology. To end, robust reproducible porous hydrogel pellicle developed. This encapsulates from repeated exchange reagents prevent deformation. soft allows stable picking further analysis, difficult with methods that permanently immobilize platform will pave way precise toward clinical practice.
