ABSTRACT
In this paper, we report a novel cartridge-case-like micromotor. The micromotor, which is fabricated by the template synthesis method, consists of gelatin shell with platinum nanoparticles decorating its inner surface. Intriguingly, resulting structure exhibits pH-dependent "open and close" feature, originates from pH responsiveness material. On basis catalytic activity nanoparticle inside shell, capable moving autonomously in aqueous solution containing hydrogen peroxide fuel. More interestingly, find out that micromotor can be utilized as motion-based sensor over whole range. velocity increases monotonically increase analyte solution. Three different factors are considered to responsible for proportional relation between motion speed solution: peroxidase-like oxidase-like behavior at low high pH, volumetric decomposition under basic condition caused swelling/deswelling current work highlights impact material properties on thus paving way toward application sensing field.
