ABSTRACT
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is inflammation-related. Patients with chronic renal failure who undergo hemodialysis (HD) have some acute adverse effects caused by dialysis-induced oxidative stress, protein adsorption, platelet adhesion, and activation of coagulation inflammation. Here, resonantly illuminated gold nanoparticles-modified artificial (AuNPs@AK) for achieving high efficiency accompanying therapeutic strategy CKD during HD proposed. The in removing uremic toxins increased obviously, especially the presence (closer to real blood). excited AuNPs@AK expressed negatively charged surface reduced coagulation, thus avoiding thrombosis HD. Unlike traditional which provides only one function toxins, solution collected from outlet sample channel showed an efficient free radical scavenger that could decrease stress. In mouse model, this antioxidative further decreased fibronectin expression attenuated fibrosis, suggesting a inflammatory response. These successful vitro vivo approaches suggest take multiadvantages shortening treatment time reducing risk effects, promise trailblazing strategies CKD.
