ABSTRACT
The flexible sensing platform is a key component for the development of smart portable devices targeting healthcare, environmental monitoring, point-of-care diagnostics, and personal electronics. Herein, we demonstrate simple, scalable, cost-effective strategy fabrication electrode based on waste newspaper with conformal coating parylene C (P-paper). Thin polymeric layers over cellulose fibers allow P-paper to possess improved mechanical chemical stability, which results in high-performance platforms detection pathogenic E. coli O157:H7 DNA hybridization. Moreover, electrodes have potential serve as disposable, testing biosensors.
