ABSTRACT
The renaissance of Li-S battery technology is evidenced by the intensive R&D efforts in recent years. Although theoretical capacity and energy a theoretically very high, projected usable expected to be no more than twice that state-of-the-art Li-ion batteries, or 500 Wh/kg. "sulfur fever" has certainly gathered new knowledge on sulfur chemistry electrochemistry, electrolytes, lithium metal, their interactions this "new" system; however, real advance toward practical still missing. One main reasons behind sensitivity batteries experimental testing parameters. Sophisticated nanostructures are usually employed, while practicality these nanomaterials for rarely discussed. electrode, engineered thin-film configuration, further poses uncertainties transfer from lab industry.
