ABSTRACT
High-efficiency blue CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) have been synthesized for display application with emission peak over 460 nm the purpose of reducing harmful effect short-wavelength light to human eyes. To reach a better charge balance, different size ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were and electrical properties NPs analyzed. Quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) based on as-prepared QDs optimized successfully fabricated. Using small-size NPs, we obtained maximum current efficiency (CE) 14.1 cd A-1 external (EQE) 19.8% QLEDs an electroluminescence (EL) at 468 nm. best our knowledge, this EQE is highest value in comparison previous reports. The CIE 1931 color coordinates (0.136, 0.078) device are quite close standard (0.14, 0.08) National Television System Committee (NTSC) 1953. saturation show great promise use next-generation full-color displays.
