ABSTRACT
Nanozymes are an excellent class of optical reporters for the development sensitive biosensors widespread applications. In this study, mesoporous core-shell palladium@platinum (Pd@Pt) nanoparticles were synthesized and then applied as signal amplifier in a dual lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) integrated with smartphone-based device use simultaneous detection Salmonella Enteritidis Escherichia coli O157:H7. After optimization, limit detections calculated to be ∼20 cfu/mL S. ∼34 E. O157:H7, respectively. The greatly improved sensitivity was contributed by peroxidase-like catalytic activity Pd@Pt enhancement parallel design eliminating cross-interference. estimated recoveries LFIA range from 91.44 117.00%, which indicated that developed method is capable detecting live bacteria food samples. This approach provides attractive platform O157:H7 using sole piece equipment, indicating great promise foodborne pathogen analysis or in-field safety tracking.
