ABSTRACT
In the present study, we fabricated magnetic oleosomes functionalized with recombinant proteins as a new carrier for oil-based lipophilic drugs cancer treatment. The bioengineered oleosome is composed of neutral lipids surrounded by phospholipid monolayer embedded oleosin fusion proteins. was genetically fused to nanobody green fluorescent protein (GFP). A consisting immunoglobulin-binding LG GFP used couple an antibody targeted delivery breast cells. lipid core loaded nanoparticles and carmustine drug. characterized using transmission electron microscopy dynamic light scattering. Moreover, specific into target cell investigated via confocal microscopy. To examine viability delivered oleosome, conventional 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay carried out. Furthermore, animal study conducted confirm effect resulting from anticancer drug-loaded oleosomes. Taken together, can be powerful tool drug agent therapy.
