ABSTRACT
Porous poly(ionic liquid)s (PPILs) combine the features of porous materials, polymers, and ionic liquids (ILs) or their derivatives, but they are normally amorphous structure with disordered pores. Here, we report facile synthesis ordered liquid) crystallines (OPICs, specialized as a kind PPIL analogues) diverse adjustable framework IL moieties through Schiff base condensation IL-derived salts neutral monomers. Ternary monomer mixtures employed to artistically control chemical composition pore configurations. Compact atomic packing was achieved give spacing confined surface strong CO2 affinity. Through control, OPICs exhibit high uptakes excellent CO2/N2(CH4) selectivities efficiently implement fixation catalyzing epoxides cycloaddition under down ambient conditions.
