ABSTRACT
Particulate matter (PM) discharged along with the rapid industrialization and urbanization hazardously threatens ecosystems human health. Membrane-based filtration technology has been proved to be an effective approach capture PM from polluted air. However, fabrication of membranes excellent reusability antibacterial activity rarely reported. Herein, flexible multifunctional porous nanofibrous were fabricated by embedding Ag nanoparticles into electrospun SiO2–TiO2 nanofibers via impregnation method, which integrated abilities performance. Compared reported air filters, resultant membrane (Ag@STPNM) high surface polarity structure possessed low density, removal efficiency, small pressure drop. For instance, efficiency drop Ag@STPNM a basis weight only 3.9 g m–2 for PM2.5 reached 98.84% 59 Pa, respectively. In terms thermal stability Ag@STPNM, adsorbed could removed simply calcination process. The performance kept stable during five purification–regeneration cycles long-time 12 h, exhibiting recyclability durability. Furthermore, embedded achieve resistance breeding bacteria on giving bacteriostatic rate 95.8%. Therefore, holds promising potentials as highly efficient, reusable, filter in practical purification indoor environment or personal
