ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to investigate the protective effect alanyl-glutamine (Ala-Gln) on acute colitis complicated by pulmonary injury induced dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) in C57BL/6 mice. results showed that Ala-Gln intervention alleviated weight loss, disease activity index (DAI), colon shortening, and pathological regulated absolute number CD4+T-cell subsets mesenteric lymph nodes (MLNs). In addition, significantly ameliorated composition gut microbiota mice with DSS- colitis, decreasing relative abundance Desulfovibrionaceae increasing abundances Gastranaerophilales, Clostridia-vadinBB60, Alistipes. Moreover, treatment inhibited activation PI3K-Akt/NF-κB/STAT3 inflammatory signaling pathways DSS-induced colitis. Notably, also as well imbalance levels tissue conclusion, alleviates regulating microflora pathways, alleviating accompanying injury.
