ABSTRACT
It is the first time that cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanorods have been fabricated on silicon (Si) pyramid surface by hydrothermal reaction method. In our work, Si morphology able to increase adhesion between CdS seed layer and wafer. Hence, it critical for grow successfully. During fabrication process, glutathione used as complexing agent formation of nanorods. By continuously adjusting experimental conditions, thickness layer, concentration glutathione, temperature reaction, optimal condition growth 80 nm 0.2-0.3 mmol 200 °C, 1.5 h. The Cd S elements a ratio 1:1.03 from energy-dispersive spectroscopy test, which in agreement with stoichiometric composition CdS. bandwidth 2.22 eV through optical absorption spectra. photosensitivity response test results reveal these structure an obvious photosensitive effect. From analysis, can any morphological if strong enough.
