ABSTRACT
Intraband absorption in doped nanocrystals offers an interesting alternative to narrow-band-gap materials explore mid-infrared optoelectronic device designs. However, the performance of such a clearly lags behind ones relying on intrinsic materials. Livache et al. proposed dye-sensitized approach overcome limitations observed from intraband (high dark current, slow response, low activation energy), where absorber is coupled with undoped material, which takes care charge conduction. Here, we unveil coupling between both using transient reflectivity (TR) measurement. We show that hybrid material displays unique feature TR signal attribute transfer for dynamics matches hopping time. Then, developed strategy enhance photodetection performances by light resonator first The latter used factor 4 and enables increase operating temperature 80 K compared reference device. obtained best devices absorption.
