ABSTRACT
Miniaturization of spectrometers is crucial for the application spectroscopic analysis in many fields. As a new paradigm miniature spectrometers, reconstructive have attracted extensive attention due to their ultracompact design. However, methods with simple, low-cost, and flexible manufacturing processes are still urgently needed enable wide applications this technique. Here, we propose spectrometer based on gold nanorod-polyvinylpyrrolidone (AuNR-PVP) film. By employing photochemical reshaping technique, spectral transmittances at different areas film can be simply defined patterned during single exposure. Therefore, elements fabricated customized through convenient inexpensive approach, sophisticated design not necessary. We show that incident spectra reconstructed from image signals generated by CMOS sensor, which responses spatially modulated integrating AuNR-PVP-based gradient filter. Experiment results demonstrate performs well reconstruction both narrowband broadband spectra.
