ABSTRACT
Selective oxidation of hydrocarbons with molecular oxygen at ambient temperature is full challenge, and efficient activation the inert C–H bond under mild conditions breakthrough point. Due to promotion effect organic solvent hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) α-Fe2O3, highly reactive phthalimide-N-oxyl radical (PINO) species were produced photoirradiation blue light (455 nm, 3 W) without additional heating, which utilized activate various aromatic hydrocarbons. Combining hyperoxide decomposition catalysis, excellent conversion (98%) total selectivity (99%) ketone (aldehyde) alcohol successfully obtained 30 °C. It was found that reactivity lifetime PINO closely related adsorption attitude on surface could be modulated most beneficial for catalytic efficiency by relying homogeneous interaction between HFIP heterogeneous α-Fe2O3.
