ABSTRACT
A new host crystalline form of syndiotactic polystyrene (e), able to form cocrystals with guests of high polarity and hyperpolarizability, has been discovered. The guest dipoles are nearly parallel to the host chain axes, which allows us to easily obtain stable polymeric films with guest dipole orientation perpendicular to their surface.
