ABSTRACT
Because of the fundamental properties and possible applications in spin-based electronics photonics, diluted magnetic semiconductor nanowires are actively pursued. Here we report a general facile solution synthetic strategy to prepare colloidal through solution-liquid–solid (SLS) doping approach using single-source precursors. On basis this strategy, transition metal ions such as Mn Eu doped CdS were successfully synthesized characterized. The material characterizations demonstrated that process is nucleation controlled. We further investigated effects on nanowire growth well their photoluminescence properties. exhibit emission related excitonic polaron CdS, single Mn2+ ion Mn–S–Mn centers trap states, evidenced by time-resolved spectra measurements. With increase precursor used process, becomes more pronounced. By tuning concentration, white emissive achieved.
