ABSTRACT
A remarkable enhancement of Raman scattering is achieved by TiO2 shell-based spherical resonators in the absence plasmonic enhancers. This effect ascribed to synergistic combination high refractive index shell layer, multiple light through spheres, and related geometrical factors can be exploited fabricate a new generation self-diagnostic, recyclable SERS-active substrates.
