ABSTRACT
Cell surface modification has been extensively studied to enhance the efficacy of cell therapy. Still, general accessibility and versatility are remaining challenges meet increasing demand for cell-based Herein, we present a facile universal method that involves mild reduction disulfide bonds in membrane protein thiol groups. The reduced cells successfully coated with biomolecules, polymers, nanoparticles an assortment applications, including rapid assembly, vivo monitoring, localized drug delivery. No adverse effect on cellular morphology, viability, proliferation, metabolism is observed. Furthermore, simultaneous coating polyethylene glycol dexamethasone-loaded facilitates enhanced activities mice, overcoming immune rejection.
