ABSTRACT
A series of Ce(1-x)M(x)O(2-δ) (M = Gd, Zr, La, Sm, Y, Lu, and Pr) samples were characterized by Raman spectroscopy to investigate the evolution defect sites (oxygen vacancies MO(8)-type complex) their distributions in samples. It was found that oxygen due different ionic valence state dopant from Ce(4+), while complex radius Ce(4+). The investigated using 325 514 nm excitation laser lines, indicating surface enriched. Moreover, increasing ordering level sample led a decline concentration but constant vacancies, implying metastable species more disordered compared vacancies.
