ABSTRACT
This paper presents the rheology and morphology of immiscible polymer blends compatibilized by a reaction at interface. Nylon-6 was melt blended in twin screw extruder with several different grades maleated polypropylene 10 20 wt %. The extent interface is varied varying maleation affects phase differently volume fractions. reactive fit to Palierne theory infer values equilibrium interfacial tension. tension reduced proportion polypropylene.
