ABSTRACT
To compare the self-reported estimation of sleep quality evaluated by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and life assessed Life (QLI).The PSQI comprised 19 questions a wide variety factors relating to quality. The QLI consisted 10 items for self assessment different dimensions quality.A representative Austrian sample (n = 1049) aged above 15 years.Interviews in homes participants.32.1% could be classified as poor sleepers (37% females, 26.5% males). decreased with increasing age, especially women. Overall was highest younger (15-29 years) lowest elderly subjects (over 50 years). age. Between subjective moderate, significant correlation found (r2= 0.6721).Complaints about bad used screening method exploration patients' (QoL).
