ABSTRACT
IN previous experiments we found that, over a wide range of doses, amphetamine and amylobarbitone affected relatively little the spontaneous activity of rats in an unfamiliar environment, but that some mixtures of these two drugs greatly increased it. This somewhat surprising effect could be regarded as a result of true mutual potentiation1,2.
