ABSTRACT
Abstract The four and a half LIM domains 2 (FHL2) has been shown to play important roles in the regulation of cell proliferation, survival, adhesion, motility signal transduction type tissue-dependent manner. However, function FHL2 ovarian physiology pathology is unclear. aim this study was determine role functional mechanism progression granulosa tumors (GCTs). Immunohistochemical analysis indicated that overexpressed GCT tissues. Cellular localization cells cycle dependent. Knockdown suppressed growth, reduced viability inhibited migration. Consistently, ectopic expression with very low endogenous promoted improved enhance Importantly, overexpression vivo . Mechanistic studies regulates AKT1 gene vitro or lines induced similar phenotypes. Ectopic constitutively active rescued knockdown-induced arrest growth reduction viability, suggesting through controlling expression. Finally, co-immunoprecipitation chromatin immunoprecipitation analyses functions as co-activator NF κ B AP-1 regulate transcription. In conclusion, results from present indicate exerts its oncogenic action via promising target for development novel drugs against tumor.
