ABSTRACT
Abstract Pressure-induced amorphization (PIA) and thermal-driven recrystallization have been observed in many crystalline materials. However, controllable switching between PIA a metastable phase has not described yet, due to the challenge establish feasible methods control pressure temperature precisely. Here, we demonstrate reversible thermally-driven of VO 2 (B) nanosheets. Comprehensive situ experiments are performed precise conditions transformations, which normally hindered but occur with stimuli beyond energy barrier. Spectral evidence theoretical calculations reveal pressure–structure relationship role flexible x polyhedra structural process. Anomalous resistivity evolution participation spin transition for first time. Our findings significant implications design devices exploration hidden amorphous
