ABSTRACT
Recent studies show that international trade affects global distributions of air pollution and public health. Domestic interprovincial has similar effects within countries, but not been comprehensively investigated previously. Here we link four models to evaluate the both exports on PM2.5 health across China. We 50-60% China's pollutant emissions in 2007 were associated with goods services consumed outside provinces where they produced. Of an estimated 1.10 million premature deaths caused by throughout China, nearly 19% (208,500 deaths) are attributable exports. In contrast, leads improved quality developed coastal a net effect 78,500 avoided nationwide. However, export exacerbate burdens less interior provinces. Our results reveal be critical largely overlooked consideration effective regional planning for China.International domestic China entangled, their impacts have treated separately earlier studies. Wang. quantify complex integrative framework.
