ABSTRACT
Currently, the key challenge in triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) is how to efficiently enhance surface charge density. Here, a new strategy proposed increase density by comprehensively utilizing solar energy and tidal energy, bioinspired photoelectric-electromechanical integrated TENG (Pem-iTENG) developed. This enhancement of output performance greatly attributed accumulation photoelectrons from photocatalysis negative charges contact electrification. Pem-iTENG shows maximal open-circuit voltage 124.2 V short-circuit current 221.6 μA cm-2 under wave sunlight, an improvement nearly factor 10 over that reported TENGs based on solid-liquid More importantly, it exhibits high conversion efficiency according evaluation method for cells. work provides insights into development high-performance using different natural sources.
