ABSTRACT
Abstract NO x abatement has been an indispensable part of environmental catalysis for decades. Selective catalytic reduction with ammonia using V 2 O 5 /TiO is important technology removing emitted from industrial facilities. However, it a huge challenge the catalyst to operate at low temperatures, because ammonium bisulfate (ABS) forms and causes deactivation by blocking pores catalyst. Here, we report that physically mixed H-Y zeolite effectively protects vanadium active sites trapping ABS in micropores. The catalysts stably temperature 220 °C, which below dew point ABS. sulfur resistance this system fully maintained during repeated aging/regeneration cycles trapped easily decomposes 350 °C. Further investigations reveal pore structure amount framework Al determined ability various zeolites.
