ABSTRACT
Abstract Members of the genus Penicillium are commonly isolated from various terrestrial and marine environments, play an important ecological role as a decomposer. To gain insight into in intertidal zones, we investigated diversity community structure using culture-dependent technique culture independent metagenomic approach ITS (ITS-NGS) partial β-tubulin ( BenA -NGS) targets. The obtained isolates were tested for halotolerance, enzyme activity, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) degradation. A total 96 species identified zones. Although -NGS method was efficient detecting , some only detected conventional isolation and/or ITS-NGS method. displayed significant degree variation relative to season (summer winter) seaside (western southern coast). Many this study exhibited cellulase protease degradation PAHs. These findings support zone nutrient recycling pollutant
